Standard Warranty
Standard warranty on SES products is 12 months.
Life Expectancy
The typical design life expectancy for our LV dry-type transformers is 25 years, with some units still operating in the field since the 1970s! SES designs transformers to run conservatively and builds them for durability, prioritizing long life expectancy and reliability.
Actual lifespan can vary based on factors like:
Environmental conditions: Temperature, humidity, and dust exposure can impact longevity.
Loading conditions: Consistent operation within rated load helps extend life; overloading shortens it.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance can prevent issues like overheating and insulation degradation, prolonging life.
